Update Your Gold Wing
Connect USB Drive
Connect the USB drive containing the downloaded file to your motorcycle. Gold Wing Airbag models have the USB connector located in the trunk; all other Gold Wing models have the connector located in the center storage compartment in front of the seat.Find the Update Screen
Turn your bike’s ignition switch twice to the right to engage the ACC position, and double-click the ignition knob on the dash. Within one minute, a message should come up on your dashboard screen: “Do you want to update?”Select Update
Use the four-way key switch on your left handlebar cluster to navigate the menu to “Yes”, and press “Enter” in the center of the four-way switch.Start Installation
The installation may take as long as an hour, but may be shorter depending on the update and region. The screen will show you approximately how much of the download has completed. Your Gold Wing’s ignition switch must remain in the ACC position for the entire duration of the update. Do not start your motorcycle.Continue Installation
Towards the end of the update, the screen may show “99 percent complete” for several minutes. This is normal; let the system finish completely.Complete Installation
When the installation is complete, the initial screen appears again and will ask if you want to update the system. Select “No” and remove the USB drive.
Note that updating your navigation system overwrites your favorites and history, and resets your “beep” volume to the default value. Updating the system will not affect XM/FM presets.

At exactly two years old, the battery died. There is a service bulletin for a software update but of course, my vehicle didn't need update, it needed a new battery due to dead cell that happened within six hours. The top sides of the body has ripples down both sides. Was told this is usually cause by roof rack (I don't have roof rack) or by car wash (my car has never been through a car wash. I won't even let dealer wash it when I'm there). The car brakes hard even when there is no obstruction in front of me. The cruise, lane assist, mitigation will all shut off at various times saying radar is off/blocked. On 10/08/19 while driving, the lcd screen started beeping, flashing and going black. Nothing would work. Car is becoming dangerous to be on roadway. Filed complaint with Honda on a couple issues. Sorry for my luck, it's now out of warranty due to mileage.

Our Honda crv is a 2019 purchased litlle over 4 months ago 7800 miles to dare. Our problems started 17 days ago with a routine first oil change. At that time were advise of software recall and they said was completed and ok to drive. 6 days later an electrical. Or software problem occurred and all 13 icons on dashboard went off while driving. Alarms and warnings on dash as well. Brought back to Honda and they rebooted and said found no issue. A daynor so later same issue and brought ba k to Honda autofair manchester nh and they ket car 4 daya and worked with Honda tech replaced turbo and reset software and said might be related to origiginal software issue recall. A few days late on June 8th while starting a 65 birthday celebration for my wife we heard the loudest shreaking alarm when we went out front to driveway we found it was out xar and air bag had deployed on its own while not moving in driveway. The alarm was ao bad people driving by stop to help. Smoke was pouring from dashboard. Again we call Honda and they towed ro Honda manchester only again to give us yet another rental. When going back to get phone cord from diaabled car a group of Honda ployees surrounded vehicle in dismay. One said to me is that your vehichke I said yes and thwy said your lucky you werent killed if that happened while driving. This IA we we are at 17 days later from first oil change. We are in fear of driving thia car. Honda new about thia problem and has not decided to send out recall till july8 2019. Another month!!! how many lived will be loat or serious injuries because of thisnegligence.

While diving randomly at high speeds (60+ mph) and while turning in very good weather all warning lights light up (I have a video) and the vehicle loses power. This has happened a number of times on the highways and a major safety concern. I had to pull out of the highway stop and restart for the vehicle to regain power but the warning lights continue to be lit. After a couple of start and stop it disappears. It is a major safety concern and I have been lucky so far. I have approached the dealership thrice about the issue and they have replaced 2 sensors and updated the software but the issue persists.

The contact owns a 2014 Honda Cr-v. While driving 65 mph, the tire pressure monitor sensor illuminated. The vehicle was taken to bosak Honda michigan city (located at 710 e hwy 20, michigan city, in 46360, (219) 874-4293) where it was diagnosed that the software needed to be updated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 23,500.

Display console becomes erratic showing different screens, usually starting first with brightness level indicator, and then moving into different screens. The rate the screen changes increases with time. Dealer stated previously that Honda is aware of issue and that it needed a software update which was in beta testing. The incident rate for this to happen is increasing. My second trip to the dealership today (I think a year later) and they still do not have a fix. To stop the cascade, you have to stop the car and turn it off. It is a significant distraction when driving and is unpredictable. Have also noted lane departure system will engage at odd times (no actual lane departure or identifiable road issues). The main dash display failed to boot on start up recently. The gear knob has had to be replaced within the first year.
Failure Date: 05/12/2019
Ive been to the dealership 5 times now for the same issues: road departure mitigation system failure, adaptive cruise control problem, collision mitigation system problem. I have also been driving the vehicle and with no one in front of me, the car will beep, flash brake, and then the brake system will activate. When this happens the seat belts lock up from the sudden braking. I was told there is an update, and they installed it, supposedly, and the problem should be fixed. I am still having all these problems, and I am now being told there is a software update that is coming out next month. Let me reiterate that while driving on the highway the vehicle will randomly brake with no one in front of me. I also had my gear shifter button pop out and brake while shifting to drive the other day. I had to drive to Honda, and get that replaced, and was told that it is a common problem.

Tl-the contact owns a 2018 Honda Cr-v. . The contact stated that while driving the steering wheel would start vibrating and pulling to the right like the lane assist feature. The contact's vehicle was not doing anything to activate the lane assist feature and the option to use the feature was off. The dealer d'ella Honda of glens falls 313 quaker rd, queensbury, NY 12804 (518) 793-3811 stated that they will look to try to replicate the issue. The manufacturer stated that there are no recalls on the vehicle. The contact has a loaner vehicle while the dealer has the vehicle. The front console malfunctioned also and will go out. The the backup camera for example will come on when the vehicle was not in reverse. The manufacturer stated that it's a software malfunction and they are working a solution to fix it. The failure mileage was 3,900. Tf.
Failure Date: 03/28/2019
On multiple occasions, while the vehicle is in motion, the system has made an alert sound and the instrument panel has provided the following notifications: 'break system' indicator is lit; collision mitigation system problem; road departure mitigation system problem; and today (3/28/2019) while the cruise control was engaged, it also displayed adaptive cruise control problem. It shuts down these systems and the car drives with a slight 'drag' to its movement. Focom ford vcm obd software focom 1.0.9419 download. The only way to correct this issue is to pull over, turn the car off, wait, and then restart. The system checks itself and resets. This is unpredictable, cannot be specifically initiated, and therefore is difficult to take for repair when there is no indication at the time of the vehicle being in need of repair. There is clearly something wrong with the software, the computer, or an electrical connection. I am the original owner, vehicle was purchased in October 2017.
Failure Date: 03/04/2019
Yesterday I got in my car to head home from work. When I turned it on, I got a number of systems alerts, including the engine, brakes, power steering and others. I was able to get the car home, but when I was going to take it the dealership, the car sputtered and seems to be losing power as if it would stall. This is the third time that I have gotten system alerts and taken the car to be repaired. The first time, the oil was changed and a software update performed. The second time, a software update was performed. This time, I checked the oil and it was over full and smelled of gas. The car is now at the dealership for them to determine the issue. I live in texas. The first time this happened, was during the summer. The last two times have been in winter.

Reviews Of 2019 Honda Passport
Failure Date: 02/09/2019
Vehicle does not shut down when turned off. This causes a high parsitic draw on the battery which causes the vehicle not to start in a matter of hours. Honda posted a service bulletin stating what the problem is and how to fix it. . Service bulletin 17-032. The service manager stated he never heard of it. Then he went on to say even if there is a software update, Honda will not alow him to do it unless absolutely necessary because of the labor charge to Honda. My battery blew up releasing toxic gasses filling the exterior of the car which contain my wife and kids at the time. They gave me a new battery.
Failure Date: 02/07/2019
While driving, safety systems go offline. Adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, road departure mitigation, collision mitigation braking system, and others all go offline at the same time. Appears to happen at random. First visit to dealer, we were advised they did not see any codes and there was no malfunction at that time. Next visit, all the systems were still offline from earlier in the day and they performed some software updates which reset everything. Next day, safety systems went offline again. We took the vehicle back to the dealer where it is right now and they are advising that it is a fuel issue and gasoline is getting into the oil . No explanation how or why this is causing the safety systems to go offline and become inoperable. Have contacted Honda multiple times along they way, currently waiting on a case manager to call back.
Failure Date: 01/21/2019
The battery is repeatedly dead after a day or so if not driven. The dealer says a draw of 0. 500 amp was found from the evaporation detection module and there needs to be a software update to fix it. They cannot give me any timeline for this update other than to say 'they are working on it'. In the meantime, anytime I do not drive the car for a day or two, I need to get a 'jump' to get it started.
Failure Date: 01/08/2019
If the car sits for 2-3 days without running the battery drains and dies completely. We have been told that it is related to an evac test that is performed 5 hours after the car is shut off. Apparently Honda is aware and is working on a software upgrade.

There has been several stalled engine incidents while driving on a city street and also stationary at a red traffic light. No engine light has turned on leading to a wiring issue perhaps. Not so much a mechanical issue more so electrical of software related. It is unknown when the engine will turn off. There are two recall associated with stalled engine for Honda Cr-v 2010. There are the ignition circuit coupler failure (11v004000) and the automatic transmission control module software (11v395000) however my VIN is not apart of that recall. I am scared and fear for my life that this stalled engine issue will cause my car to get into an accident or even worst have someone else and I get killed.

Radio locks up and then indicator lights on dash flash - brake failure, vsa failure, tpms failure, ldw failure, acc failure, lkas failure, cmbs failure. Had it at Honda service two times and they reinstalled software and did a hard reboot. Issue reared its head again Dec 14, took to Honda service with lights flashing for a computer read. Service scheduled for Dec 19 to look into issues and perform recall repair. Check engine light has been on since I took it in Dec 14. Car seems to run fine even with indicator lights flashing. Issue happened first time while on interstate going 70 mph. Secong time on backroad going 45 mph.

The problem that we are experiencing on and off for more than 1 year while driving the car is warning lights all coming up and disabling the key safety features: brake system failure, lane keeping assist problem, collision mitigation system problem, road departure mitigation system problem, and adaptive cruise control problem. This happen at normal city driving, freeway driving, with cruise control on and/or with cruise control off. The car is still operational but with warning lights. When you turn off the car, and restart the issues may or may not go away. When it does go away, it will randomly occur again. This problem happen when we had the car for 3 day old after buying it brand new and took it back to dealer and they look at it and did a software install. But, it never corrected the problem. We have live with this issues for more than a year now and are now fed up. We are frustrate of the thought of bringing it to the dealer and having the same thing happen to us again.

I parked the car in the garage on 8/18/2018. I turned off engine and all electronic equipment. We went on vacation for 2 weeks. On 9/3/18 we returned and we could not start the car. The battery was dead as it was completely drained. I researched on crv forum and there seems to be a knowing problem with battery slow drainage due to software and/or electrical components.

2018 Honda crv. Consumer writes in regards to a software issue. The consumer stated the software relationship between the transmission and the acceleration function would misfire. The signal from the transmission to the acceleration was delayed or non-existent.

Battery went totally dead. Drove 1. 5 hr . Away from home vehicle sat for 7 hr. Returned to the car and dead. Had to be jumped by secuirty. Drove home started it a few times and the next day and it was fine. I read where there is a TSB 17-032. Software bug. Drove to work, we'll see if it starts to get home. Going to dealership in the morning. No documentation, security guard had me fill out a paper for their records.

Purchased car 1/18. Took 10 day vacation car was parked during that period. Car battery was dead when we returned. Had aaa jump car and took to dealer. Battery checked and told by dealer it was fine 6 days later battery dead had Honda service tow car to dealer. Had found Honda TSB 17-032 online describing a battery drain from vsa modulator. Made copy for dealer because they were unaware of problem asked them to follow the TSB software upgrade procedure which they did but when they tested battery there was still a drain so they replaced the battery and informed me I need to drive car everday to keep it charged, this is our second car and is not driven everyday and we travel which means the car may not be driven for 10 days or more the service advisor indicated that we need to acquire a battery charger because most likely the battery would be dead. It seems that the 2017 crv has an electric brake system problem. It pulls on the battery even when the ignition is off. Is Honda going to issue a recall on this problem. Everytime I get in the car I wonder if the car will start and this an uncomfortable feeling for a brand new car with only 540 miles on it.
